About the role:
Engineers at the developing level are building their professional expertise while applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. You determine courses of action based on guidelines.
As an early-career professional, you work on problems of moderate scope where analysis requires review of various factors, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices.
You contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems, applying learned techniques while receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. You build productive working relationships to resolve mutual problems and focus on providing standard professional advice.
Your work contributes directly to team deliverables, and you are developing the technical skills necessary to progress in your engineering career.
Your contribution will be:
โข Implement features and bug fixes, delivering low-to-medium complexity tasks independently, write clean, tested code following established patterns and coding standards
โข Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback
โข Debug and resolve issues in development and testing environments
โข Contribute to technical documentation and maintain code comments
โข Attend and actively participate in all team meetings and ceremonies
โข Work on well-defined tasks and small features with clear requirements
โข Learn and apply team development practices and tools
โข Collaborate with automation test engineer to ensure quality of delivered features
โข Support senior engineers on larger features and initiatives
โข Continuously improving technical skills through learning and practice
โข Seeking feedback and guidance to accelerate professional development
โข Complete assigned tasks within estimated timeframes
โข Contribute to team knowledge sharing sessions
โข Follow established development workflows and processes
To be successful, we think you need:
Education
โข Bachelorโs degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
โข Master’s degree valued but not required
โข Equivalent practical experience will be considered
Experience
โข Typically requires 3+ years of related software development experience
โข May include internship experience or academic projects
โข Some experience with production or commercial software development
โข Demonstrated ability to complete technical projects
